Less intensive than inpatient treatment, Millwood Hospital offers outpatient treatment for patients in a less restrictive environment. Our Branches locations provide these services at your convenience.
Millwood Hospital provides 24-hour treatment and supervision in a structured environment for patients who need intensive treatment for mental health or substance use.
Millwood Hospital’s service line for adult chemical dependency, offers a well-integrated continuum of care for individuals struggling with substance use, addiction and/or compulsive behaviors; based on the belief that addiction is a chronic, primary illness.
Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is less intensive than partial hospitalization but is more intensive than traditional outpatient therapy. It is designed to provide stabilization and resolution of immediate problem areas and considers family participation a vital part of treatment.
The Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) provides participants with structured group therapy and education, as well as weekly individual and family therapy sessions. It provides a highly structured treatment environment that is less restrictive than traditional inpatient treatment.
Addiction is a disease of its own. These substances change the way our brains work, which can make it a challenge when we are trying to reform ourselves. Our behavioral therapists understand the challenges that people face when they are dealing with substance abuse. That is why we provide inpatient substance use treatment services.
The Honor Strong Program is a resiliency-focused, trauma-informed program that provides treatment and education on an outpatient basis for Corrections Officers, Law Enforcement, Highway Emergency Response Operators (HEROs), EMTs, Firefighters, Dispatchers, Crime Scene technicians, Healthcare Professionals.
