About Us

About Our Mental Health Treatment Centers

Goals and Care

Our goal is to treat everyone with dignity and respect as we help individuals address mental health and chemical dependency problems successfully.

Mental Health Assessment Process

Our “Rapid Assessment/Rapid Intake” process distinguishes us from many other mental health treatment facilities. Once Millwood Hospital is contacted, help begins in a matter of minutes — not days or weeks — beginning with a free mental health assessment by a licensed mental health professional. We provide assessments for individuals of all ages, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

At Millwood Hospital and Excel Centers, you will find that our motto “We believe in People” holds true. We empower our employees to remove any barrier to complete patient satisfaction and to do whatever it takes to ensure each patient is treated with the utmost respect.

We believe that we have recruited some of the area’s most prestigious physicians, senior leaders, and other providers to provide quality care to our patients. Ensuring all 350+ staff members receive proper administrative support allows for our highly trained staff to focus on our patient care experience. We will continue to reinvest in our healthcare system through ongoing employee education and training, while also re-investing in our facility through technological upgrades like electronic medical records and through innovative technological advances in behavioral health that prioritize patient safety.

Our overall goal and commitment is to assure patient safety and high patient satisfaction!
Thanks again for visiting our website and let us know how we can help you with your behavioral healthcare needs.
