Acute Mental Health Care

Inpatient Acute Mental Health Care

We provide 24-hour treatment and supervision in a structured environment for patients who require intensive chemical dependency or behavioral therapy.

A multidisciplinary team of professionals led by a psychiatrist provides individualized treatment plans that may include group and family therapy and medication management.

Our goal is to help patients improve their coping skills and functioning so they can return to a better life.

Millwood Hospital and The Excel Centers offer a TEA-accredited school for youth in treatment. The school can also conduct STARR testing and any state-required testing in our on-site classrooms, per TEA guidelines.
