Please read the important information below if you are the family member or loved one who intends to visit a patient receiving treatment at Millwood Hospital.
Visitation Guidelines
Visitors are to leave all personal belongings locked in their vehicles or in visitor lockers in the main lobby . Car keys and ID only permitted in the building (absolutely NO cell phones). Leave approved patient property with Reception to be itemized and taken to the unit, not to the visit.
Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (Unit 1)
Individual, 20-minute visits may be accommodated with 2 adult visitors.
Please contact the House Supervisor to request a special visitation.
Kids Unit (Unit 2)

Substance Use Disorder Unit (Unit 3)

Visiting Procedure
Visitors check in at SVH main lobby.
- 2 adult visitors allowed
- For safety, you must stay the entire visitation time
- You will need to have the patient ID#
- Arrive 15 minutes prior to visitation time
- For safety, visitors may not enter once visitation starts
- Enter through visitors’ entrance on back left side of building (covered awning)
- Sign in and allow wanding for safety
- No belongings other than car keys allowed
- Visitor lockers available in main lobby
- Please drop off patient belongings before or after visit at the main reception desk
- No outside food or drink allowed
