Millions of Americans are affected by a “dual diagnosis” or “co-occurring disorder” each year. These terms are used to describe a mental health disorder that is coupled with a substance use disorder or vice versa. Treating just one-side alone will not lead to long-term recovery.

According to the National Survey on Drug Use and Health,9.2 million U.S. adults experienced both mental illness and a substance use disorder in 2018.

Our Treatment is designed to stabilize both acute mental health symptoms and substance use disorders.  We provide a therapeutic environment for healing during challenging times.  Our primary goal is to guide individuals to a healthier lifestyle, while addressing individual needs.

We help individuals gain new tools for their recovery, while being supported 24/7 by nursing staff, Physicians, social workers, counselors, and other supportive staff members that provide individualized, compassionate care that promotes continued success during treatment and after.

Programming includes individualized treatment options, which may incorporate:

  • Comprehensive evaluation
  • Substance use assessment
  • Crisis intervention and stabilization
  • Supportive environment
  • Medication management
  • Detoxification
  • Group Therapy
  • Psychoeducation
  • CBT interventions and relapse prevention
  • Pet, art, yoga and other recreational therapies
  • Discharge and aftercare planning

We also offer day and intensive outpatient services at our Arlington outpatient location.

Treatment begins with a no cost and confidential mental health assessment by a licensed mental health professional. We provide assessments and tele-assessments for individuals, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
