What We Do

Millwood Hospital’s Branches outpatient clinics offer both Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP) for mental health and substance use treatment in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metropolitan, Texas, area.

We offer child, adolescent and adult IOP services, as well as PHP mental health services for the same age groups. These levels of care are generally less intensive and restrictive than our inpatient programming and inpatient care, but still require a significant amount of care administered by our treatment team.

We have four locations across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex to ensure your care is close to home.

We also offer specialty programs for teens and adults seeking more specific resources:

Honor Strong First Responder Program for Adults

At Branches Midtown, our program specifically for First Responders, Active Duty Military, Veterans and Frontline Healthcare Workers offers specialized treatment specifically designed for the needs and challenges of First Responders. Our team understands what this unique group needs to work towards positive outcomes, and this special level of treatment is due to the nature of their professional experiences.

Second Chances Program for Adults

Branches Arlington offers our Second Chances Adult Program for those individuals that continue to have repeat hospitalization, non-compliance with medications and schizoaffective disorder.

According to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI):

  • 1 in 5 U.S. adults experience mental illness each year
  • 1 in 20 U.S. adults experience serious mental illness each year
  • 1 in 6 U.S. youth aged 6-17 experience a mental health disorder each year

The data shows that it’s important to seek mental health treatment at any age. Our psychiatric hospital can help children, teens, adults and older adults with outpatient mental health treatment through our four Branches locations.
